Privet hedge also known as 'Ligustrum Ovalifolium' is a semi-evergreen hedging plant with stunning oval shaped leaves. Privet hedging plants are very popular as they are fast growing making them ideal for privacy screening and windproofing. When clipped these will become very dense helping to reduce noise and are pollution tolerant, perfect for suburban areas. During the summer Privet hedging will produce beautiful white flowers.
Planting condition: Most normal soils, sunny and partial shade, sheltered or exposed areas, inland and coastal.
Growth rate: 30-60cm per year.
Height: 1-4m high.
