Cooper Beech is fast growing, hardy hedging plant native to the UK. During spring their foliage displays a cooper-brown leaf that transforms into a rich dark purple in summer, then finally stunning yellow in autumn - showing beautiful colours all year round. Purple beech hedge thrives in sun or partial shade and in all types of soil (apart from extremely wet soil).
Planting conditions: Suitable for any normal soil. Plant in full sun to semi shade and inland, coastal or exposed sites.
